European network rollout and maintenance

In telecommunications, VINCI Energies is supported by the offerings of its two network brands, Graniou and Axians which are present across Europe. Graniou specialises in engineering, implementation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure and Axians specialises in business communication (voice-data-image).
Their services to operators, suppliers of equipment to companies and local authorities range from deployment to maintenance, adapting to structural and technological evolutions: 4G norm, fiber optics, convergence, etc.

Very high-speed networks: a vector for growth

Img_graniou.jpgGraniou is present in France and in 6 European countries and has positioned itself on the French market for the deployment of “Fiber To The Home” (FTTH) in which it is a privileged partner of SFR and Free. The projects now under way will allow for fiber optics connections to more than 300,000 households.
The brand also works with local authorities for the implementation of their very high-speed digital networks. The Syndicat Intercommunal de l’Électricité de l’Ain has made an active FTTH infrastructure available to these operators.

Moreover, Graniou is the leader in France in the deployment of radio communications and works with the three domestic operators, SFR, Orange and Bouygues Télécom. The commitments made by these operators to ensure 3G coverage in the country continue to provide a significant share of business for the brand. Graniou also offers support and maintenance services for the fixed and mobile sites of these operators.

Internationally, Graniou has reinforced its presence through its privileged partnerships with operators such as Ericsson in Denmark, SwissCom in Switzerland and TPSA in Poland...

  • The Graniou network won a France Télécom – Orange contract at the end of 2008 covering technical maintenance of 6,500 fixed-line and mobile telecommunication sites in 25 departments in south-western France, Overseas France and Mayotte. The contract covers preventative and corrective maintenance. The 3-year (1-year renewable) contract represents annual business volume of €10 million. To meet its requirements, VINCI Energies business units had to mobilise more than 60 people in just a few months.
