Opteor is the network of VINCI Energies business units specializing in maintenance. It is a designer of multi technical and multi-sites solutions, and it supports its clients in the maintenance of their facilities. Its 60 local business units apply their expertise in electrical, thermal and mechanical engineering to services including operational maintenance.
Industry: maintenance for better production
Opteor, as a business partner to industrialists, designs and implements maintenance solutions with an overall goal of increasing reliability and reducing costs. Opteor offers customized solutions for the manufacturing and process industries including engineering, maintenance contracts, unit shutdowns and in-shop repairs. Its teams are now working through more than 100 maintenance contracts in electricity, instrumentation, mechanics and piping.
Service Sector: multi-technical maintenance for energy efficiency
Increases in energy prices and in environmental awareness are leading businesses and local authorities to optimize their energy consumption. In this context, Opteor offers a range of services devoted to energy efficiency from in-depth audits of gas and electricity consumption to contractual commitments over time with quantitative energy savings objectives.
Focus
- The Edouard Toulouse hospital complex in Marseilles has called on Opteor to provide maintenance and operation of its HVAC facilities. The hospital complex based the decision on the brand’s expertise and on its contractual energy efficiency programme. Opteor undertook to optimise energy consumption in the existing facilities and thus significantly reduce energy costs throughout the duration of the five-year contract. At the end of 2008, energy savings had already reached some 10%.
