> 3D for the National Geographic Institute Geoportal
Specialising in the implementation of real-time digital 3D models on the web using the Skyline technology, VINCI Energies subsidiary i.g.o. has won the 3D implementation contract for the French National Geographic Institute’s Geoportal. Interactive 3D browsing will be available to Internet users in June 2007, providing aerial views, cadastral data, links to websites and descriptive information sheets, etc. |

> VINCI selected on partnership contract for the city of Rouen
In Normandy, the consortium made up of VINCI Concessions and VINCI Energies, both VINCI subsidiaries, has been selected by the Rouen local authority for a 20-year partnership contract. The public-private partnership (PPP) covers the financing, design, construction and operation of public lighting equipment (replacement, maintenance, energy supply), traffic management and management of the city's video surveillance system.

> 2nd prize in the SERCE 2006 Lighting competition!
On the occasion of the 220th anniversary of the city of Saint Joseph on Reunion Island, the city hall was renovated and repainted in Creole colours, which were enhanced by lighting provided by the the Bourbon Lumière company. The project won 2nd prize in the SERCE 2006 Lighting competition!

> Jean-Yves LE BROUSTER sponsors the HEI class of 2006 (France)
VINCI Energies Chairman and CEO Jean-Yves Le Brouster presented diplomas to the 190 graduates of the HEI engineering school in Lille at the commencement ceremony attended by 700 guests – graduates, family members, alumni, public figures – held at the premises of Entreprises et Cités in Marq-en-Baroeul.
The sponsorship is a good illustration of the excellent partnership that has existed between VINCI Energies and HEI for several years now.

> VINCI Energies reinforces its Actemium network
VINCI Energies has acquired the Promatic company, a leader in industrial PLC systems in Belgium.
Founded in 1985, Promatic generates revenue of some €18 M and employs 125 people. Promatic has locations in Aalter, Ath and Angleur (Belgium) and in Oirschot (Netherlands).
With this acquisition, Actemium (solutions for industry) begins operating in Belgium and strengthens its European presence.
The Actemium network brings together 80 business units in 10 European countries.

> 9 safety awards for VINCI Energies
Nine VINCI Energies business units were honoured by the jury of the safety competition organised by SERCE electrical engineering association and OPPBTP (Building and civil engineering industry accident prevention body) in 2005. The awards were presented on 17 May. |

> Acquisitions in Germany, France and Sweden
Since 1 January 2006, VINCI Energies has acquired 9 companies.
These are Nohl Brandschutz (fire protection) in Germany and two comapnies specialising in telecommunications infrastructure - Dynamic Equipment in Belgium and RBS in Sweden.
In France, VINCI Energies also welcomed the COTEB (industry and service sector) group and Héralys (telecommunications) in the East region, CN Assistance (industry) in the Rhône-Alpes region, MCTI (service sector) in the Normandie region, EEP-SEDD (service sector) in the Nord region and MPE (service secctor and industry) in the Sud-Ouest region.
Overall, the business activity contributed by these companies amounts to €40 million on an annualised basis.

> External growth in eastern France
The Electrolor company and its subsidiary SIEE, Jadot, Traseg and City Electric joined VINCI Energies in December 2005. The first four of these business units, which specialise in network infrastructure, are based in eastern France and City Electric is based in Luxembourg.
In February, VINCI Energies also welcomed the COTEB company. Based in Besancon and made up of five subsidiaries, it specialises in service sector and industrial electrical systems. The revenues contributed by its business units amount to €25 million.

The business unit had already won two other certifications: ISO 9001–V2000 (quality) and ISO 14001-V2004 (environment). |

> VINCI Energies sets foot in Portugal
VINCI subsidiary VINCI Energies has just signed a draft agreement to acquire 80% of the capital of the Portuguese company Sotecnica.
Founded in 1951, Sotecnica is one of the leading Portuguese companies undertaking the design, construction and maintenance of technical installations for industry, the service sector, airports and the energy infrastructure sector.
With bases in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra and Faro, Sotecnica operates throughout Portugal and employs 530 people. It expects to achieve net sales of the order of 50 million euros in 2005.

VINCI Energies has acquired in March 2005 NK Networks & Services, a German company specialising in network infrastructure integration, ToIP (telephony using Internet technology) and network security. Operating in nine German cities, the business unit, which has 132 employees, generated net sales of 47 million euros in 2004. NK Networks & Services joins Axians, the VINCI Energies business unit network specialising in voice-data-image integration and extends the latter's operations in Europe. |

> Two prizes for two German subsidiaries of VINCI Energies
Controlmatic, a German subsidiary of VINCI Energies, was awarded a prize by Siemens for observance of safety and environmental protection following the assembly of a process control system at a plant in Ludwigshafen.
G+H Schallschutz, another German subsidiary of VINCI Energies, received the trophy for best supplier of the year from the American company General Electrics Energy.

> VINCI Energies: No. 2 in active fire protection in Germany
In January 2004, VINCI Energies acquired the German company GFA. The company, operating in Germany and the Czech Republic, designs and installs sprinkler systems - fire extinguishing systems using pressurized water sprayers. Already present in Germany on the active fire protection sector through the company Calanbau, VINCI Energies now ranks second in that sector in Germany. |
