Testimony of a Technician - VINCI Energies

"I have worked in a variety of companies, and my current job at EEE is without a doubt the most satisfying. I joined the business unit in 2008 as a temporary employee and four months later I signed an unlimited term contract as a design studies technician. I work in a four-person modelling team where I handle transmission line towers. I use software to perform calculations and go to the sites to climb the towers and perform measurements. I like alternating between working in the office and travelling to the various French regions.

This is a specific activity sector and I was unfamiliar with it when I started because my training was building in civil engineering. But I learned quickly and several in-house training courses enabled me to expand my skills. Despite my age and my lack of experience, I was rapidly given responsibilities and they are increasing as time goes on. Thanks to the diverse range of activities within the VINCI Energies Group, I know I have good prospects if I decide to make a change in my career".
