	José Antonio Ramos, Foreman, Tecuni, Spain "I joined Tecuni in 2002 as an apprentice after I finished my vocational training. I liked the fact that the business unit was well known and had good results and that it offered opportunities for moving up. I wasn’t disappointed! In getting to know my colleagues, I learned a lot and I specialised in optical fibre, which is my core technical expertise. In just a few years, my responsibilities have expanded and so have my skills and today, though I have just turned 25, I manage a team of about ten people! On the ground, I supervise worksites while taking part in the ongoing work, in close cooperation with the project manager. Tecuni enabled me to make progress by offering me interesting opportunities for promotion. And naturally I wanted to share my knowledge with the others. That is why I devote time to training.
