Testimony of a Service Fitter


	Simon Borggren, Service fitter, Actemium Stenungsund, Sweden « If you were asked to describe the ideal job you would probably say: a job in which you were given responsibility and independence quickly with a good working atmosphere and safe working environment. This is what I have had since joining Actemium four years ago. I started out as an apprentice and gradually I acquired experience. I took in-house training at VINCI Energies and this enabled me to round out my knowledge. Today I am an electrical service fitter and I work on a wide variety of jobs. I help customers solve their electrical problems, such as error detection, lighting installation, power outlets and automation solutions. In all these assignments I have full independence. I plan my workday, buy the equipment, handle the invoicing. In other words, I manage everything! And it is truly fascinating. At first I wanted to work in a different city in Sweden or abroad. However, I ended up in my home town and I am delighted! »
