Young people are welcomed for internships and work-study programmes under “professionnalisation” and internship contracts; this is a key element of the Group’s human resources policy. These young people are earning a diploma (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS, engineering degree, vocational university degree, master’s degree) while learning their future job through first-hand experience..

More and more initiatives are being taken for young people:
At the beginning of the 2000s, Actemium created Edulab in the Netherlands, an educational laboratory dedicated to industrial automation jobs. This training and discovery centre is focused on providing students with vocational training and disseminating a technical culture in the broad sense of the word among young and even very young people. Every year, 200 to 300 schoolchildren and their teachers visit Edulab. Today Edulab is a research and training centre that is recognised throughout the country. It receives government subsidies.
In 2008 and 2009, as part of the Citeos partnership with ESTP, young first-year engineering students were welcomed at the Académie VINCI Energies to explore jobs at Citeos brand business unit. The students practiced on the facility dedicated to lighting jobs.
