Actemium committed to training young students in East Timor
Actemium is set to train 40 students in electrical and instrumentation trades as part of a training contract.
Actemium Oil & Gas Training (VINCI Energies) has signed a contract to supply technical training in industrial maintenance trades, which is aimed at helping young people to become electrical and instrumentation technicians. After successfully completing the selection process, 40 students have taken part in the training programme since May 2017 for a period of 18 months.
The purpose of the project is also to build a partnership with a training centre in Tibar, 10km from the capital, that will help develop the centre and support the projected growth in industrial activity in East Timor.
Actemium Oil & Gas Training centres
Actemium Oil & Gas Training centres offer training in production and maintenance for onshore and offshore platforms. They were set up 10 years ago, and since then have welcomed hundreds of people, providing a range of 60 different courses. OPITO-certified (Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation), the courses meet the requirements of the international standards that apply in this constantly changing sector.
