Discussion and awareness raising to promote a concrete environmental policy

Environment, wind energy, photovoltaic energy, etc. – these issues, which involve major environmental goals, are a focus for the Group’s business units. A variety of initiatives have been taken to draw everyone’s attention to these strategic themes:

• Discussion clubs: Employees exchange ideas and hands-on experience, rounding out their knowledge and disseminating it throughout the Group.
• Training : 3,800 hours of training in energy efficiency and carbon audits were provided in 2008

These actions have borne fruit. Every year, more business units are initiating an environmental certification (ISO 14001) programme.
