The diversity and equal opportunity approach concerns all of the Group’s business units and is part of all of their projects. Specific training is offered within the VINCI Energies Academy. Working groups on diversity and equal opportunity topics have been formed. Management’s involvement, as close to the field as possible, supports this approach. In the Group’s business units, positive and negative discrimination do not exist; the only things that count are professional competency and the confidence given to everyone so that they can prove themselves on the job.

The Vigéo audits revealed a real culture of openness to all origins, both at the time of hiring and throughout people’s careers.

 

Objective recruitment

The increased number of recruitment channels (recruitment by simulation with the ANPE, unsolicited applications, temp agencies, internships and apprenticeship contracts, partnership with job placement organizations, relations with schools) helps avoid the phenomenon of cloning and indirect discrimination and promotes staff diversification.

 

Diversified management

By making sure that everyone has the same opportunities, in terms of hiring as well as access to training and advancement, the Group opens access to all levels of the hierarchy to people of all horizons.

Recruitment training is provided by the VINCI Energies Académie. This training involves consciousness-raising for managers in the Group’s equal opportunity policy and gives them the means to apply it within their business unit.
