In order to support its growth and the development of its businesses, VINCI Energies has an active human resources development policy, within the Group. It encourages the hiring of young people, training, labor dialogue and exchanges between employees. The goal is to harness skills and to find synergies.

Welcoming young people

The VINCI Energies teams have always made it a point of honor to accompany and train young people to help them acquire their first experience. In the current economic context, which is making it harder for young people to find their first jobs, the VINCI Energies business units have every intention of continuing this commitment. In 2010, 4 000 young people were involved in internships and work/study programs and 850 were hired with permanent contracts. The integration of new employees involves personalized approaches, open house days and tutoring. The Group is also increasing the number of initiatives in training sectors and for young university graduates by establishing partnerships with schools.

Harnessing all skills

Skill development is an essential investment. The training programs given at all stages in professional life allow the business units of the Group to strengthen themselves and to prepare themselves for the challenges of the future. The VINCI Energies Academy is the spearhead of this training policy.

Nourishing dialogue within the company

For the 900 human-scale business units of the VINCI Energies Group, autonomy is an important value. It gives people the means to take initiatives, to develop their skills and to strengthen their commitment towards customers and the company. This proximity ensures real labor/management dialogue.

Sharing success with our teams

Each person’s contribution to the company’s growth is acknowledged, particularly through profit sharing agreements. The employees of VINCI Energies thus have the possibility of becoming shareholders of VINCI and, in France and in certain European countries, benefiting from the advantageous terms of the “Castor” Group Savings Plan.
