VINCI Energies at the Air’Innov campus in Mérignac
Thales awarded the low current works package to Cegelec Bordeaux Electricité Tertiaire, the HVAC and smoke extraction works package to Tunzini Toulouse and the sprinkler and fire hose cabinet works package to Uxello Aquitaine.
The future Air’Innov campus being built by Thales is expected to open by the end of 2016. Located near Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport, it is designed as an ultra-modern industrial campus combining innovation, a rewarding work environment for employees and development of the local ecosystem.
The 60,000 m² facility will accommodate the 2,300 Thales employees currently spread across two Bordeaux-area sites in Le Haillan and Pessac.
For this Thales showcase, the Cegelec Bordeaux Electricité Tertiaire teams are implementing the full range of low-current systems in the site’s seven buildings (which include two data centers) and guardhouse. Meanwhile the Tunzini Toulouse business unit, working in a joint venture, won the HVAC and smoke extraction works package. The sprinkler and fire hose cabinet works package went to Uxello Aquitaine.
The inauguration of the campus is scheduled in early 2017.
