Promoting social and professional inclusion

The Fundación VINCI España is supporting a project to enhance employment prospects for people with intellectual disabilities. This initiative in partnership with Fundatul has helped five beneficiaries to find employment.

In 2025, the Fundación VINCI España supported a “Parking Control Officer and Restricted Parking Areas” training course organised by Fundatul in Málaga. The aim of this initiative is to promote social and professional inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Daniel Araguez, an IT coordinator at VINCI Energies Spain, alongside the Fundación VINCI España, the project allowed participants to acquire the technical and social skills to perform their duties effectively. The educational approach taken facilitates learning and strengthens employability, with a focus on essential skills such as communication, conflict management, and cooperation. The ultimate aim is to promote autonomy and independent living.

The training offers a number of major benefits:

  • Greater personal autonomy: improved decision making and problem resolution; increased self-confidence.
  • Improved household management: promotion of shared domestic responsibility and equal relationships.
  • Enhanced social inclusion: creation of community support and integration networks.
  • Healthy lifestyles: adoption of sustainable practices thanks to workshops on nutrition and physical activity.
  • Financial autonomy: courses on household economics for improved resource management.

Thanks to the commitment of the technical teams, volunteers and partners, and the support of the Fundación VINCI España, five participants found work following their training course. This success shows that professional inclusion is possible when the focus is on talent and diversity.
