Efflam Moysan manages modular cable landing station and undersea cable projects for Actemium Le Mans Energies & Process. It’s a job that takes him to the four corners of the world.
Efflam Moysan, aged 29, is a project manager at Actemium Le Mans Energies & Process, a business unit specialising in modular cable landing stations (MCLS). These structures, designed and assembled in Le Mans in western France, offer a more flexible alternative to conventional undersea cable stations, ensuring a reliable connection to the terrestrial fibre-optic cable network.
An engineering graduate of ENSAM, he started out at SDEL Transport Services (VINCI Energies) before joining Actemium in 2022 to be closer to his partner’s home in Angers.
With considerable experience of international projects from the Congo to Mexico, he has particularly striking memories of an unusual project in California, which took place within a stringent regulatory framework. He oversees the entire project cycle from design to commissioning: “My position allows me to take an overarching view, taking in everything from building design to energy management and the choice of materials.”
He is also busy investigating new contracts with local telecommunication operators, cable specialists such as the France-based world leader, Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN), and not least, GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft).
Curious and versatile, Efflam Moysan cultivates the qualities of organisation and agility, enhanced by a rich sporting and cultural life.
