Le contrat, couvrant la période 2026-2031, inclut des services supplémentaires et un plus grand nombre de parcs éoliens offshore.
Omexom, the energy infrastructure brand of VINCI Energies, has won a contract extension and expansion for maintenance services for Dutch wind farms in the North Sea. Following a successful contract period from 2021 to 2025, Omexom in Germany has renewed and expanded its service agreement for electrical infrastructure maintenance (including offshore substations for two of the wind parks). From 2026 to 2031, the scope will grow significantly, including additional services and wind farms. The company won a combined tender from wind farms Borssele 3&4 (owner: Blauwwind), Borssele 5 (Two Towers), Hollandse Kust Noord (CrossWind), Hollandse Kust West VI (Ecowende), Eneco Luchterduinen and Prinses Amaliawindpark (Eneco).
The contract covers the maintenance of the electrical infrastructure of the above wind farms as well as the owner’s equipment at each wind farm’s substation. For Prinses Amalia and Eneco Luchterduinen wind farms, Omexom is also responsible for maintaining all associated substations.
The contract is the result of combining these six wind farms into a single tender, so that the wind farm owners, with Eneco as operator, achieve significant improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness by leveraging economies of scale and streamlining coordination across the entire portfolio.
Operational delivery of the contract will be handled by Omexom Renewables Energies Offshore, based in Oldenburg, Germany, and Omexom Offshore Benelux, based in Assen, the Netherlands. This gives Omexom the opportunity to expand its presence and broaden its portfolio in the Netherlands and Belgium. This combines Omexom’s local presence and offshore expertise across national borders — an important building block for high availability and the safe operation of the assets.
“Renewed trust confirms our offshore expertise and the performance of our teams in Germany and the Benelux countries. Together, we ensure that the substations are operated reliably and thus contribute to the safe integration of offshore wind energy into the energy system,” says Irina Lucke, Managing Director and Head of the Offshore Business Area at Omexom Germany.
“With Omexom, we are continuing our collaboration with a partner that has demonstrated extensive offshore expertise, high reliability and a deep understanding of our assets in recent years. This helps us operate our offshore substations safely and efficiently and further strengthen the generation of electricity from offshore wind,” says Renzo Schildmeijer, Operations Manager BOP at Eneco.
