Artistic adventure at Le Hameau Bellevue

The young residents of Le Hameau Bellevue in SaliesdeBéarn now have a new fresco mural to admire. This collective artwork was created under the direction of the artist Fanny Pierot with support from several Actemium business units.

In 2024, the Vivre Ensemble association organised a week-long trip for 15 children with disabilities to experience the Paralympic Games in Paris, with two places funded by Actemium.

Building on this experience, Actemium Adour Mécanique, Actemium Adour Pyrénées, SITC and Actemium Pau dreamed up a new solidarity initiative.

Davy Haget, General Manager at Actemium Adour Mécanique, explains. “With our four business units, we have solid roots in our local area. That makes it important for us to manifest our VINCI Energies values in practical actions focused on those people most in need. We have set ourselves a goal of, every year, supporting an inclusive solidarity project for children living in challenging circumstances.”

In 2025, these business units offered Le Hameau Bellevue an inclusive artistic adventure: the creation of a fresco under the direction of the artist Fanny Pierot.

Over the course of a week, residents painted together in small groups, solo or in pairs depending on their abilities, with support from care workers and Actemium employees. Fanny then transformed these inspirations into an original composition, which was then projected onto the facade as a guide for the painting workshops.

Guillaume Laussel, General Manager at Actemium Pau, describes how he felt following this experience. “It’s hugely rewarding to share projects with people from outside our professional environment, and even more so with disabled people, who have so much value to offer us. This type of experience makes us look at ourselves, our work, and life in general differently… It opens us up to inclusion, solidarity and so many other things as well.”

The fresco is now complete, and the residents are immensely proud of their accomplishment.
