Global performance contract in Moulins

Citeos Ingénierie Centre-Est and CEE Allier (VINCI Energies), in partnership with CEME, have secured a global performance contract with the town of Moulins in the Allier department, including a solar power generation option.

This global performance contract includes the renovation of the town’s public and sports-venue lighting and its traffic control signals. The aim is to reduce energy consumption, minimise the town’s carbon impact and reduce light pollution.  The contract covers more than 2,840 light fittings, 54 control cabinets and the replacement of 275 lamp posts, along with remote management and monitoring of town-centre lighting and all traffic lights. It also includes the installation and management of seasonal illuminations and heritage lighting.

Significant energy savings are expected from these improvements, with a 74% reduction from the third year onward and up to 60% less power used.

The contract also includes a solar power generation option for collective self-consumption across several municipal sites, to quickly meet the energy needs of some facilities and reduce the town’s energy bill even further.

Maintenance will be managed using CityApp, computer-assisted maintenance management software designed by Citeos, which helps centralise maintenance efforts and reduce response times.
