Several VINCI Energies business units are working for the developer Kaufman & Broad on a huge urban transformation project of approximately 100,000 sq. metres near the Gare d’Austerlitz in Paris.
The Austerlitz district, tucked away between the 5th and 13th arrondissements of Paris, is at the centre of a new revitalisation project. The main aim of this project is to better integrate the Gare d’Austerlitz into its urban environment while improving accessibility and providing new facilities.
Coordinated by a project management team from VINCI Energies Building Solutions, a consortium that includes Bateg, SAGA Neo Smart, Phibor Espaces, Santerne Horizon, Tunzini Build’in Smart, Lefort Francheteau Eolys and Uxello will be responsible for the plumbing; electrical engineering (high-voltage and ELV); heating, ventilation, climate control and smoke extraction; and fire protection batches for this huge urban transformation project on behalf of the developer Kaufman & Broad.
The future mixed-use complex centred in around 100,000 sq. metres of space near the Gare d’Austerlitz will perform a variety of urban functions. It will include offices, a four-star hotel, support services for the railway station, shops, apartments, public parking, and huge public and green spaces.
