Etape du Tour 2025: five children saved

On 20 July, 50 VINCI Energies Coureurs du Coeur proudly wore Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque colours on the Etape du Tour 2025 to save five children with heart problems. Mission accomplished!

Since 2017, VINCI Energies has been supporting Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, a charity that brings children with heart abnormalities to France, Switzerland and Spain for surgical treatment when the medical and financial means may not be available in their home countries. This partnership inspires numerous social and sports projects, such as Initiatives-Coeur and the Paris Half Marathon, and once again this year, the Etape du Tour de France.

Yesterday, 50 VINCI Energies Coureurs du Coeur set off on an ambitious 131 km ride featuring a total 4,500 metres of elevation gain and five legendary climbs: Côte d’Héry-sur-Ugine, Col des Saisies, Col du Pré, Cormet de Roselend, and the spectacular ascent to the finish in La Plagne.

In addition to their sporting achievement, thanks to their commitment and the support of their business units – which included bib sponsorship – five more children will receive vital surgery.
