This major project clearly demonstrates how the energy transition works on the grand scale, developing renewable electricity production at the local level. 

Installed on a former air force base, this 202 MWp plant is one of the largest ground-mounted solar projects in France. Covering 147 hectares and comprising 331,830 solar panels, the installation produces around 200 GWh of renewable electricity a year, equivalent to the annual consumption of 85,000 people across Creil, Senlis and several neighbouring communities. 

The Omexom teams supported Rubis Photosol at every stage, from engineering through to commissioning, providing their expertise in civil engineering, electrical installations, network connections and maintenance. Up to 250 professionals, including 50 electricians, worked on the project, successfully installing and connecting as much as 5 MWp each week. 

This project illustrates the clear ability of VINCI Energies and Omexom to design, build and operate complex energy infrastructure, while consolidating its trusted partnership with Rubis Photosol to the benefit of regional energy transition.
