A partnership for digital literacy

In Portugal, for the second year running, Axians has signed a partnership with ENSICO to help as many children and young people as possible access computer science courses during the next academic year.

In Portugal, VINCI Energies, through its Axians brand, has renewed its partnership with the computer science teaching association ENSICO, which aims to provide access to computer science teaching to the greatest number of children and young people.

The aim of the initiative is to prepare children from a young age to deal with complex challenges. This year, more than 4,500 of them will benefit from ENSICO computer science classes.

ENSICO supports computer science teaching for all primary and secondary school students and plays a fundamental role in making this teaching available to children and young people.

This partnership aims to prepare future generations for life in an increasingly digital world by teaching them essential computing skills and boosting their digital literacy. In 2023, more than 200 students from the E.B.S Frei Gonçalo de Azevedo group of schools were fortunate enough to benefit from this initiative.

Education is a fundamental right, and access to new forms of teaching has a considerable impact on society. By offering young people the opportunity to acquire computer science skills, we are investing in essential knowledge for the future.
