EOLE RER E Line western extension project

VINCI Energies wins two consortium projects with Eiffage Energies Systèmes Ferroviaires for Eole project.

As part of the western extension of the RER E rail line (EOLE project), SNCF Réseau has awarded:

1/ to the consortium consisting of SDEL Infi (VINCI Energies subsidiary with its companies SDEL Transport Grands Projets, SDEL Rail, SDEL Transport Services and Actemium Paris Transport) and Eiffage Energie Systèmes Ferroviaires – the contract to install power and ELV systems in the Porte Maillot and La Défense stations, and for the nine shafts and tunnel linking Haussmann Saint-Lazare station to the future Nanterre-la-Folie station (8 km). This project involves the installation of high and low-voltage equipment supplied by eight 20 KV delivery substations and six transformer substations. For the ELV systems, the project consists in updating the fibre-optic network, voice-data-image network, and the video surveillance, telephony, intercom, access control and intrusion detection systems, along with the building management system. It also includes architectural and functional lighting in the two new stations, as well as safety lighting in the tunnel and its nine ventilation shafts.

2/ to the consortium consisting of SDEL Infi and Siemens Building Technologies IdF – the contract for the renovation over four years of the fire safety systems in the existing RER E line stations in Paris (Haussmann Saint-Lazare and Magenta), and for the rollout of fire safety systems on the line extension between Haussmann and La Défense. To ensure the continuing operation of the existing stations, SDEL Infi proposed a distinctive methodology for changeover from the existing installations to the new installations. A hypervisor will ensure the monitoring and management of the all safety, BMS, ventilation, sound system, telephony and video systems. The consortium will subsequently provide maintenance of these installations for three years.
