VINCI Energies steps up its support for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque

After eight years of memorable races and other shared achievements as a partner on the Initiatives-Cœur project, VINCI Energies has decided to step up its support for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque by embracing its role as one of the charity's sponsors.

VINCI Energies will extend and deepen its support for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque-Enfants du Monde when its current partnership with Initiatives-Cœur expires on 31 December 2025.

VINCI Energies commends the unfaltering commitment that brought together partners, crews and skippers around the Initiatives-Cœur sports charity. Over the past eight years, Samantha Davies has competed in prominent races including the Route du Rhum, Transat Jacques Vabre and Vendée Globe, sailing solo or in tandem with fellow skippers Tanguy de Lamotte, Paul Meilhat, Nicolas Lunven, Jack Bouttell and Violette Dorange. The technical crews, led by David Sineau, also played a pivotal role in the IMOCA-class yacht’s performance in these events.

Beyond the competitive dimension, the project’s charitable purpose, which resonates with VINCI Energies’ values, has fostered a strong and enduring bond with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. VINCI Energies and its business units will therefore continue to work alongside it and raise funds for heart surgery for children while shining a light on the charity with its teams around the world.

“This project has been a fantastic adventure – from sporting and human perspectives – and enabled VINCI Energies to reaffirm its commitment to charitable causes. It generated remarkable engagement among our teams, who rallied behind it very enthusiastically. Above all, it has built a solid and lasting bond with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, and we are determined to continue working alongside them,” said Arnaud Grison, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VINCI Energies.
