Liège–Bastogne–Liège: in the saddle for UNICEF
On 26 April 2026, 30 employees took part in the Liège–Bastogne–Liège cycling event in support of UNICEF.* Thanks to their business units having purchased their bibs, their efforts were transformed into donations to the organisation.
Since 2022, VINCI Energies has been supporting UNICEF by financing projects in Benin, Brazil and East Timor that provide access to a data connection and online learning for more than 20,000 students aged between 6 and 18. These three projects offer hybrid teaching via digital technologies alongside more traditional forms of education.
By choosing to participate in Liège–Bastogne–Liège, these employees achieved more than sporting success – they physically embodied a key VINCI Energies value: solidarity. Every kilometre completed generated direct support for these UNICEF programmes.
