Ajaccio Napoléon Bonaparte Airport has renewed to the end of 2026 its contract with TG Concept and Actemium Maintenance Airport Logistics for operational maintenance of its baggage handling system (BHS). This decision means the continuation of a partnership that began in 2024, when the installation was designed and commissioned. 

Designed and installed by TG Concept, this baggage handling system covers the whole passenger journey, from the check-in desks to the baggage reclaim carousel. The installation combines around 60 different pieces of equipment to transport, check and sort baggage. It includes conveyor and sorting belts with belt bend conveyors, along with an explosive detection system (EDS), dual-view x-ray system, sorting valve and reader gate. 

On expiry of the warranty period, the operator chose to extend its collaboration with teams from Actemium Maintenance Airport Logistics to ensure service continuity and high equipment uptime. The contract covers weekly on-site preventive maintenance operations, along with high-level technical support and a local on-call service for automation and IT issues.
