Pupils enjoy immersive experience in our business units

Mobility hosted 10 pupils from the Henri Barbusse secondary school in Vaulx-en-Velin as part of a work shadowing scheme, an initiative set up with the “CREE TON AVENIR!!! France” organisation and supported by the La Fondation d’Entreprise VINCI pour la Cité foundation.

From 23 to 27 January, 10 pupils from the Henri Barbusse secondary school in Vaulx-en-Velin in eastern France took part in a work shadowing scheme at Mobility.

Accompanied by two facilitators from the organisation, the pupils spent a week finding out about Mobility’s various business areas by meeting and having lunch with staff. This immersive experience in Mobility’s working environment gave them an insight into professional codes and helped them prepare their internship project. At the end of the scheme, the students presented the services of their choice, putting themselves in employees’ shoes.

The initiative was devised with the CREE TON AVENIR!!! France organisation which aims to give secondary school pupils, especially those most vulnerable, the tools to take control of their future and to provide a secure pathway towards employment or higher education. The scheme was supported by the Fondation d’Entreprise VINCI pour la Cité foundation.
